CEO Martha Tilaar Group Flies to Intercolor Budapest to Set the World 2024 Color Trend

In fashion and beauty industry, there are some points that can leads to a trend. Trend will become a benchmark for enterprises to decide product development and production. Not only matter for them, trend is also important for customers to influence their buying decision. Color is one of the trends that is most decisive on the industry, but who decide the world color trend?

Color trend usually influence the color selection in each seasonal collection. One of the oldest color trend organizations is Intercolor that established since 1963. Now Intercolor consists of 17 member countries, one of them is Indonesia, which represented by Martha Tilaar Group, the only representative for Indonesia at this event.

The latest, one of Martha Tilaar Group’s contributions to world color trend determination is when on November 15-17, Intercolor has just held the 60th congress the Creation of the World Trend Colors for Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 in Budapest, Hongaria. To represent Martha Tilaar Group, CEO Dr. Kilala Tilaar attended the congress. With Hari Samsidin, creative team of Martha Tilaar Group, and 16 representatives from other countries, Kilala Tilaar involved in the formulation of color trends for Autumn/Winter 2025/2026. Act as the host is the Moholy-Nady University of Art and Design (MOME), one of well-known and modern art and design univerities in the world.

This congress is an annual meeting. The good news is for 2024, Indonesia will be hosting the event for Spring/Summer 2026 color collection. Later, the 61st Intercolor Congress will be held in Bali on Mei 2024.
