Puspita Martha International Beauty School to Launch Work Skills Education Program
On Wednesday (20/9), Puspita Martha International Beauty School has just
launched a Work Skills Education Program –Program Pendidikan Kecakapan
Kerja (PKK). PKK is one of the programs held by the Ministry of
Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Republic of Indonesia that
is oriented to work skills development based on the needs of the
industries so that the learners will have good competency in certain
skills and proven by work competency certificate.
Puspita Martha
is one of Martha Tilaar Group’s unit businesses which is trusted by the
Ministry of Education and Culture to become a partner in PKK program
Type A (Platinum), in 2021 for Tourism Grove with Skin Beauty skill, and
in 2022 and 2023 for SPA skill.
Puspita Martha is opening the
Work Skills Training program because the school has a vision and mission
to increase the quality of beauticians in Indonesia with international
and national accredited curriculum, human resource exchange (brings in
teaching staff from abroad), own good facilities and infrastructure for
online and offline learning, to conduct competency test, and to
collaborate in graduate absorption with business and industrial world
(DUDI).
Held at Martha Tilaar Learning Center, Megamendung,
Bogor, the opening of PKK Puspita Martha was followed by 97 participants
from various regions of Indonesia such as Medan, Padang, Jakarta, West
Java, Central Java, East Java, Makassar, and Manokwari, and attended by
the Founder of Martha Tilaar Group, DR.(H.C) Martha Tilaar, head of
Puspita Martha Pingkan Tilaar, and the directors of PT Martha Beauty
Gallery, DUDI partners, ministry officials and related parties.
Later,
PKK Puspita Martha will be held for 2.5 months and include various
programs from learning theory, practice, character education, and work
professionalism according to procedures, learning English, to LSK
certified competency test with level 2 SPA Graduate Competency Standards
Scheme. Puspita Martha is always with its commitment to teach the best
skills, insights, and work ethic so that Puspita Martha can prepare the
students to develop their best self-potential before they can
confidently enter the working world with their qualified expertise. With
all that, we hope PKK Puspita Martha could help the government’s
program to reduce unemployment numbers in Indonesia, give the best
beauty education in Indonesia, especially in the beauty world, and
encourage self-development in the young generation.
