Collaboration between Ciara Indonesia and PT Martina Berto Tbk in the Development of Authentic Indonesian Natural Ingredients
Monday (6/4), Ciara one of Indonesia's natural-based skincare brands
just launched a product called Ciara Kemangi Calming Body Salve. With
Ocimoist® basil extract which is rich in antioxidants and
anti-inflammatories, Ciara Kemangi Calming Body Salve is proven to lock
in moisture more optimally, especially for dry, sensitive, or easily
irritated skin conditions.
To ensure the effectiveness of the
product and its extract content, Ciara also collaborated with PT Martina
Berto Tbk through its research unit, Berto Extract Martha Tilaar
Innovation Center. This strategic collaboration is key to developing
standardized innovations. Martha Tilaar Group CEO, Dr. Kilala Tilaar,
also revealed at the launch of Ciara Kemangi Calming Body Salve at Graha
Cedefindo, this collaboration ensures that the natural ingredients used
are processed scientifically, and that local farmers are involved in
the development of the ingredients.
This sentiment was further
reinforced by a statement by Muhammad Raafi, Chief Commercial Officer
(CCO) of PT Brighty Global Sinergi. He encouraged Indonesian brands to
continue utilizing local raw materials in their ingredient selection. He
believes that, through a scientific approach, every local Indonesian
ingredient holds immense potential.
We hope that this innovative
collaboration between Ciara and Berto Extract will enable Indonesian
consumers to experience the benefits of authentic Indonesian natural
ingredients, and will be a concrete step in encouraging the empowerment
of Indonesian farmers, particularly basil farmers.
