Glow Economy Beautypreneurs Take the Lead to Encourage Entrepreneurial Growth Among University of Indonesia Students
Entrepreneurship is a driving force of the national economy. Through
entrepreneurship, job opportunities can grow, unemployment can be
reduced, and innovation and competitiveness can be fostered within
society. Economic equality can also be achieved if the growth of
entrepreneurship in Indonesia continues to increase.
Martha
Tilaar Group's commitment to support the growth of young entrepreneurs
is more than just empty talk. It's demonstrated through its
collaboration with Indonesian beauty founders to inspire
entrepreneurship among students, including those from the Faculty of
Nursing (FIK) at the University of Indonesia (UI).
Last Tuesday,
April 28, 2026, Martha Tilaar Group & Friends continued their second
visit to the Glow Economy Road Show: Beautypreneurs Take the Lead to
one of the most prestigious universities in the country. In this beauty
talk, Glow Economy: Beautypreneurs Take the Lead presented four beauty
brand founders, namely Priscilla Pangemanan (Founder of SASC), Rizkia
Rashed (Founder of Bhumi), Raisa Andriana & Tatiana Fairuskha
(Founder of Raine Beauty), and Abel De Osmon (Founder of Glowies
Beauty), with Dr. Kilala Tilaar, Founder of Martha Tilaar Group who is
also a global beauty expert as the keynote speaker who explained future
beauty industry trends.
More than 520 students filled the
3rd-floor auditorium of Building D, RIK, Universitas Indonesia, with
enthusiastic participation. From beginning to end, they actively
participated in the event, from presentations and discussions to games
and a Q&A session on business and industry delivered by the
speakers.
Before the beauty talk show began, the Martha Tilaar
Group and the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Indonesia (UI)
also signed a Cooperation Agreement, marking the beginning of a fruitful
collaboration in the future. We hope this collaboration will continue,
and that this activity will foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the
students.
