Strengthening the Cosmetics Ecosystem & Expanding MSME Export Potential, PT Cedefindo Signs a Strategic MoU with the Malaysian Malay Commerce Council and ExportHub

Jakarta (9/7) — PT Cedefindo, a subsidiary of Martha Tilaar Group, officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian Malay Commerce Council (DPMM) and ExportHub Indonesia in an effort to encourage cross-border synergy in the cosmetics and digital marketing sectors.

The signing was carried out by Dr. Kilala Tilaar, CEO of Martha Tilaar Group, Hisham Abdul Hamid, Chairman of the Malaysian Youth Council DPMM, and Amalia Susilowati Prabowo, President Director of ExportHub ID. The event took place in the spirit of collaboration to strengthen regional business networks between Indonesia and Malaysia.

This collaboration aims to expand the scope of cosmetics production, strengthen digital marketing, and open up opportunities for other strategic collaborations in accordance with the roles and capacities of each party. According to Dr. Kilala Tilaar, "This collaboration demonstrates the trust foreign companies have in Cedefindo's capabilities. This is a crucial moment to strengthen relations with our sister country and expand the reach of local and international business promotions."

PT Cedefindo is a subsidiary of the Martha Tilaar Group that has successfully developed its business model from a consumer brand to an ecosystem brand. Until today, DPMM has 15 branches nationwide, including in Sabah, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan, connecting the broader business community through shared services, information, and guidance. DPMM also offers extensive opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and other industries, providing business networking, entrepreneurial development, and business consulting services to the community.
 
ExportHub Indonesia is a digital export platform that supports SMEs through various services such as education, product curation, business consulting, and access to global marketplaces. ExportHub serves as a catalyst for local businesses to penetrate the global market. Many local SMEs have become part of the ExportHub ecosystem and have successfully exported their products to international markets.
 
Through this MoU, the parties are committed to actively strengthening Indonesia's export ecosystem, particularly the MSME sector, which is the backbone of the national economy. They are also committed to strengthening Indonesia's export foundation and opening new opportunities for local brands to enter the international cosmetics market.
