Everyone has their own work ethic and inspiration to reach their succeed. Like Veronica Wiji Rahayu, wonderful woman who joined Martha Tilaar Group since 1987, she reached one of her success as Employee of the Year because of DJITU work ethic that inspired her. DJITU is knowns as company’s philosophy that stand for Disiplin (Diciplin), Jujur(Honest), Inovatif/Iman (Innovative/Faith), Tekun (Diligent), and Ulet (Resilient) created by the Founder of Martha Tilaar Group, Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilar.
Start her carier in Martha Tilaar Group as Beauty Advisor, Vero has achieved many scintillating career path. “After two years as Beauty Advisor of Sariayu, I was promoted as Field Control Inspector Assistant, the next year I trusted to be Field Control Inspector. Move forward in 1993, I got another promotion to be a Field Promotion Supervisor for East Java area,†said Vero. Her achievements brought her to be The Best Employee of 2015. Now, this woman who loves to do makeup is known as Area Sales Supervisor.
“At that time, to receive the award as The Best Employee becomes one of my best and memorable achievements. I had to compete with other great employees and directly appraised by Mrs. Tilaar and Martha Tilaar Board of Director. It made me feel proud and happy in a time, to be a part of Martha Tilaar Group family,†she explained. When asked about her secret to succeed, she continued, “I run some values based on DJITU philosophy that always taught by Mrs. Tilaar, from then untill now. I remember, in every opportunity, she always remind us about the value to her employees. It, somehow, growth in me.â€
Indeed, the value of DJITU is very important in Vero’s life, even when she is feeling down, she will remember this work ethic and bounced. She believes, hardwork will leads to maximum result. Not only chosen as best employee in 2015, in 2017 she also received the Best Brand Performance for Belia, Caring by Biokos, and Rudy Hadisuwarno Cosmetics, and brought Kediri Depo on her area to be The Best Depo of 2017. “It made me happy and proud of course. All these achievements are from my DJITU hardwork, combined with amazing team work,†Vero closed the conversation.
