At its 20th anniversary, the UN Global Compact held the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2020. Related to the Covid-19 pandemic, this international forum held virtually on June 15-16 2020, and presenting inspiring speakers from entrepreneurs, governments, academics, and civil society. Important figures like Al Gore (former Vice President of US), Lise Kingo (CEO & Executive Director of UNGCN), Sanda Ohiambo (Director of UNGCN), Antonio Guteres (General Secretary of UN), and Paul Polman (Chairman of UNGC Board) attended this forum. As part of the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2020 event, Samuel Pranata, the Strategic Planning Director of Martha Tilaar Group, also participate in this virtual forum.
