Martha Tilaar Group & Friends Participate in Brawijaya University's Glow Innovation Talks
In partnership with Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, the Glow Economy:
Beautypreneur Take the Lead event that presented by Martha Tilaar Group
& Friends was featured in the Glow Innovation Talks program held on
Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Universitas Brawijaya Auditorium. Glow
Innovation Talks serves as a strategic forum bringing together
academics, innovators, industry players, and creators to collectively
propel the downstreaming of Indonesian innovation to the next level.
Glow
Innovation Talks features six speakers who are experts in their
respective fields: Dr. Kilala Tilaar (Global Beauty Expert / CEO of
Martha Tilaar Group) as the keynote speaker, Yovie Widianto (Special
Staff to the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the Creative
Economy), Prof. Sri Suhartini (Head of the Green Campus Unit at
Universitas Brawijaya), Dr. dr. Sinta Mulistyarini (Program Head of
Dermatovenereology Residency), Emyranza (Founder of SMITH), and Uung
Victoria Finky (Founder of Moell).
Broadly speaking, the speakers
at Glow Innovation Talks encouraged and inspired students to have the
courage to pursue their aspirations—whatever they might be, including
becoming entrepreneurs. Drawing on their own experiences, the speakers
also outlined the various opportunities and challenges involved in
embarking on a creative endeavor or starting a business.
Through
this sharing session, Martha Tilaar Group & Friends hoped that the
920 young people in attendance would gain insight into the journey ahead
if they wish to become successful entrepreneurs. The keys are the
courage to think outside the box, an unyielding spirit, and creativity
and innovation in their work.
