Indonesia Cosmetics Ingredients 2026 Presents Innovation Zone 2026 Best Ingredients Awards
Indonesia Cosmetics Ingredients (ICI) 2026 offers more than just
exhibitions and scientific seminars. To recognize the use of innovative
raw materials, PERKOSMI is also hosting the ICI Innovation Zone 2026
Best Ingredients Award as part of the event's opening program (May 6).
This award honors companies and innovators who have successfully
developed active ingredients, functional ingredients, and innovative
cosmetic products that make a significant impact on the cosmetics
industry.
To ensure objectivity, a panel of seven judges from
diverse professional backgrounds was selected, ranging from academics
and practitioners to medical specialists. They are Dr. Kilala Tilaar
(Technical Director, ICI Innovation Zone), Dian Putri Anggraveni (BPOM),
Dr. apt. Agung Eru Wibowo (BRIN), Harumi Sudrajat (CEO, PT Sehat Konglo
Indonesia), Dr. Sherren Dillon, Dr. Stanley Setiawan (Dermatologist),
and Riva Dwitya Akhmad from L’Oréal Indonesia.
As stated by Dr.
Kilala Tilaar prior to the event, the assessment of innovations in this
year's competition focuses on the novelty of active ingredients,
sustainability, and relevance to global industry trends. He noted that
current innovations in cosmetic raw materials must be science-based and
safe, while delivering tangible impacts for both the industry and
society. The event aims to bridge the gap between research findings and
industry needs.
