PT Martina Berto Tbk Distributes Donations for the Sumatra Disaster Relief Efforts
At the end of last November, Indonesia was shocked by tragic news.
Floods and landslides struck three provinces on the island of Sumatra:
Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. Tragically, these disasters left
more than 1,000 people dead, hundreds missing, and thousands displaced.
As
a form of community solidarity, one of Martha Tilaar Group's business
units, PT Martina Berto Tbk, distributed aid to the people of Sumatra
affected by the floods and landslides. Furthermore, PT Martina Berto Tbk
also initiated a fundraising campaign among its employees.
For
this program, PT Martina Berto Tbk is collaborating with SNG Cargo to
distribute disaster relief aid in Sumatra. With this collaboration, PT
Martina Berto Tbk hopes that aid distribution will be smoother and reach
its intended destination. The donation was symbolically handed over to
SNG Cargo by PT Martina Berto Tbk's President Director, Bryan Tilaar, on
December 17th. We pray that the people of Sumatra will always be given
