After visiting eleven universities across Indonesia to share inspiring stories and tips about entrepreneurship, Martha Tilaar Group & Friends' Glow Economy: Beautypreneurs Take the Lead event finally arrived at its final stop. We concluded this inspiring journey at the Naraya Hotel in South Jakarta with 600 students from the Faculty of Engineering, across 22 study programs, from the State University of Jakarta (UNJ) (November 20).

Presenting speakers who are founders of Indonesian beauty brands, namely Dr. Kilala Tilaar (CEO Martha Tilaar Group - Sariayu), Titania Fairuskha (Raine Beauty), Tri Putra Salim and Darmanto Odwin (Smith), Muhammad Hadiyatullah and Muhammad Raafi (Brighty), and Priscilla Pangemanan (SACS), Glow Economy continues to invite and inspire students to dare to become a generation of business pioneers, especially in the beauty industry. Dr. Kilala Tilaar as the initiator of the Martha Tilaar brand ecosystem also hopes that activities like this can encourage the birth of young beautypreneurs so that the Indonesian beauty industry can be more competitive with global companies and trends. In addition to the beauty talk, Glow Economy: Beautypreneurs Take the Lead also included the signing of an MoU between PT Martina Berto Tbk and Jakarta State University regarding synergistic collaboration in the future.

On the same day, after the Glow Economy: Beautypreneurs Take the Lead event, Dr. Kilala and the founders immediately visited the Indonesian Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM). Led by the CEO of Martha Tilaar Group, Dr. Kilala Tilaar, the four founders of the cosmetics brands Brighty, Reine Beauty, and Smith met with the Head of the Indonesian Food and Drug Monitoring Agency, Prof. Dr. Taruna Ikrar at the BPOM office in Central Jakarta.

Dr. Kilala stated that the meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration between industry, government, and universities to encourage the development of high-quality, safe, and globally competitive local Indonesian products. BPOM RI as a representative of the government, welcomed this initiative and expressed its support and active participation in encouraging innovation in healthy and sustainable Indonesian cosmetics and supplements.
