Dr.(H.C) Martha Tilaar Attends the Two Centuries of Bogor Botanical Garden Ceremony
On its 200th years of age, Bogor Botanical Garden has just held its anniversary day last Thursday (18/05). Together with Presidential staff, Teten Masduki, to represent President Joko Widodo, Minister of  Indonesia Communication and Informatic Rudiantara, Head of Indonesia Botanical Garden Hj. Megawati Soekarnoputri, Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya, and the ambassador of fellowship countries, Netherland, Japan, and Germany, Dr.(H.C) Martha Tilaar also come as one of guest of honors in the Two Centuries of Bogor Botanical Garden ceremonial event.Â
As the representative of Martha Tilaar Group, Dr.(H.C) Martha Tilaar congratulate Kebun Raya Bogor on its special day. “Happy two centuries of anniversary to Bogor Botanical Garden. Hopefully Bogor Botanical Garden can keep doing the conservation of endangered plants like orchid and will always digging the benefits of Indonesia flora so it could give many beneficial usage for Indonesian people, in the future,†she says.
Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar with all guests also witness the inauguration of Tugu Prasasti Dua Abad Kebun Raya Bogor (Bogor Botanical Garden Two Centuries Epigraphy Pillar) by Megawati Soekarnoputri. On the epigraphy pillar, Raflessia chosen to be its symbol. There are 200 spots in the flowers as the sign of the age of Bogor Botanical Garden
