In accordance with the hope of the Founder of Martha Tilaar Group, DR. (H.C) Martha Tilaar, to contribute to improving the lives of farmers, in addition to being a center for the conservation of medicinal plants, cosmetics, and aromatherapy, the existence of Kampoeng Djamoe Organik (KaDO) Martha Tilaar located in Parungkuda, Sukabumi, also carries a greater mission, which to empowering Indonesian farmers.

KaDO's farmer partners are spread across various regions, including basil farmers in Cibungbulang Village, Bogor. There, the spirit of collaboration between KaDO and farmers grows alongside nature, from providing supplies and training on harvesting and post-harvest farming, sustainable organic cultivation, and utilizing garden produce as raw materials for high-quality cosmetics.

Through Kampoeng Djamoe Organik, Martha Tilaar Group believes that Indonesia's natural resources, such as basil, have great potential to become leading ingredients in the national cosmetics industry, even capable of competing in the global market. This is the cycle of sustainability we are building: from nature, managed with farmers, and returning to benefit the community. Because for us, business growth must go hand in hand with the welfare of Indonesian farmers.
