Commemorating Mother's Day, Sariayu Martha Tilaar Provides Training for Coastal Women

To commemorate Mother's Day, celebrated every December 22nd, the Martha
Tilaar Group participated in a social service activity organized by the
Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) of the
Republic of Indonesia in the coastal areas of North Jakarta,
specifically at Muara Angke Port (12/17). The purpose of this event was
to strengthen the role of women in the economic resilience of families
and the local economy.
With the theme "Women Empowered and
Working Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045," the social service activity,
attended by Minister of PPPA Arifah Fauzi and her deputy, Veronica Tan,
included the distribution of basic food packages, a dialogue with female
shellfish peelers, health checks, literacy development, health
services, and capacity-building training for women, including makeup
training in collaboration with Sariayu Martha Tilaar.
In line
with the PPPA's vision, the Martha Tilaar Group's involvement in this
activity implements one of the company's pillars, Empowering Women,
which aims to promote women's empowerment. Through beauty class training
with Sariayu, Martha Tilaar Group hopes that women in coastal areas
will have economically valuable skills that can improve their welfare
and that of their families.
