Finally, Martha Tilaar Group & Friends visited Brawijaya University in Malang! Similar to Martha Tilaar Group & Friends visits in other cities, the Glow Economy: Beautypreneurs Take the Lead beauty talk at UB aims to encourage and inspire UB students to dare to dream and take the leap into entrepreneurship as early as possible (31/10).

Slightly different from other Martha Tilaar Group & Friends visits, Glow Economy's visit to UB was a special one because we were part of the annual Research and Innovation (REIN) Day 2025 event series currently being held by UB as an effort to strengthen collaboration between universities, industry, and the government in encouraging the downstreaming of research results towards national innovation independence. Through this event titled "The Form of Synergy between Academics and Industry in Downstreaming Innovation," we strongly support the university's steps in encouraging a culture of innovation, collaboration, and creativity on campus.

Beauty Talk Glow Economy presented speakers who are beauty founders, namely Dr. Kilala Tilaar (CEO of Martha Tilaar Group, Muhammad Emyranza (Founder Smith), Titania Fairuskha (Founder Raine Beauty). Along with them, also present was the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Prof. Brian Yuliarto, Ph.D as the keynote speaker at the beauty talk show that day. Beauty talk Glow Economy was followed enthusiastically by around 600 UB students who filled the 2nd Floor Auditorium, Brawijaya University.

In addition to a beauty talk discussing inspiring stories and challenges, the event also featured the signing of an MoU between UB and PT Martina Berto Tbk. Through this MoU signing, both parties hope to create a synergistic collaboration between industry and education, resulting in innovative work. The event also featured the presentation of the book "Glow Economy" to the Minister of Education and Technology, as well as the launch of the innovative product Boumi—a collaboration between UB and the Martha Tilaar Group.

Hopefully, the Glow Economy beauty talk will broaden the knowledge of Indonesia's young generation about beautypreneurship and the ins and outs of the beauty industry, from raw materials and trends to innovation development and marketing strategies for both the Indonesian and global markets.

Let’s keep Beautifying Indonesia!
