Martha Tilaar Group's 52nd Anniversary Celebration Sharing is a Blessing
Entering the age of more than half a century, beauty care producer Martha Tilaar Group (MTG), still stands strong and creatively active in the industry. The 52nd anniversary of the company was celebrated in conjunction with the 85th anniversary of the Founder & Chairwoman, Dr (HC) Martha Tilaar.
As the manifestation of love of all employees, business partners, and loyal consumers who are always proud to use products made in Indonesia, MTG which started as a small salon in the garage of the Martha Tilaar family's house, has now grown rapidly to become a leading company with various business units and various beauty brands.
In the midst of a pandemic, the commemoration of the MTG Anniversary on September 4th is celebrated virtually in an unpretentious, simple manner, away from big parties or fanfare. MTG held various competitions and internal activities which were participated by all of MTG business units through digital platforms with attractive prizes.
Celebrating the 52nd anniversary in the midst of a pandemic and an unstable economy is interpreted with deep gratitude. As a form of corporate citizenship and part of the 52nd anniversary celebration, MTG also carried out social actions by distributing 52 thousand hand sanitizers. All of the hand sanitizers were distributed to educational institutions, religious institutions, and social institutions in need. The CEO of Martha Tilaar Group, Kilala Tilaar, hopes that the hand sanitizers distributed can help many people to better maintain cleanliness and health, and can help create herd immunity in the midst of a pandemic that is not far from over.
About 1008 pcs of hand sanitizers were distributed to people living in Rusunawa (small housing complex) Marunda, North Jakarta. It was received by Agus Susandi as a representative of Meek Foundation, a foundation which engaged in the social sector that focuses on improving people's welfare, which is trusted by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to manage Rusunawa Marunda.
"We really appreciate the concern from Martha Tilaar Group, thank you very much for the hand sanitizer donation. Later, we will distribute these hand sanitizers to children's activity groups in the Marunda flats. This hand sanitizer will be very useful for them so that they can stay clean and healthy when carrying out various activities. Once again, thank you Martha Tilaar Group.”
Meanwhile, CEO of Martha Tilaar Group, Kilala Tilaar said, "This anniversary celebration is also a momentum for us to be grateful for the all good things and blessings that we have received over the years. We also thankful to the many parties who continue to support us to stay strong during the difficult times amidst the pandemic.
