Supporting Inclusive Beauty, Martha Tilaar Collaborates with the Disabled Community

As a form of support for inclusivity, Martha Tilaar Group certainly supports inclusive beauty. As written on Kompasiana, inclusive beauty is a concept that celebrates diversity in individual appearance and identity, rejecting narrow beauty standards. We agree that everyone, regardless of skin color, hair type, body shape, size, or gender identity, has the right to feel beautiful, attractive, and valued.

For this reason, Martha Tilaar Group, through one of its cosmetic brands, Sariayu, in collaboration with the Puspa Indah Mitra Kreatif Foundation, held a beauty class themed Inclusive Beauty for People with Disabilities, Working and Being Independent for friends in the Difapreneur community (23/7). The purpose of this collaboration is to jointly provide basic makeup skills training to the general public, including people with disabilities in the Difapreneur community, as part of equitable inclusion and empowerment efforts.

This beauty class was attended by approximately 25 participants and felt truly special. Despite being attended by participants with physical disabilities, they remained enthusiastic about learning and enriching themselves with skills. From the theory of makeup and grooming to practical exercises, the Difapreneur community members participated with great enthusiasm.

Through these two-day activities, we hope our Difapreneur friends will become more empowered, enabling them to benefit themselves and those around them. Support  inclusivity, keep Beautifying Indonesia!
