Achintya Nilsen Crowned as Miss Indonesia 2017
Representative from West Nusa Tenggara, Achintya Holte Nilsen, has successfully achieved the title of Miss Indonesia 2017 during the final of Miss Indonesia 2017 on Saturday, April 22 2017. Achintya’s performance impressed all the judges and successfully defeated other 33 finalists.
Vice Chairwoman Martha Tilaar Group, Wulan Tilaar was given the honor to become one of the judges alongside with Founder and CEO Miss Indonesia Organization, Liliana Tanoesoedibjo, professional hairstylist, Peter F. Saerang, social activist and the wife of Norwegian Ambassador to Indonesia, Madam Noor Sabah Nael Traavik, Indonesian actor and UNICEF Ambassador to Indonesia, Ferry Salim, and Miss Indonesia 2015, Maria Harfanti.
The 1st Runner Up of Miss Indonesia 2017 goes to Bengkulu’s representative, Astini Putri, while he title of 2nd Runner Up goes to Ivhanrel Estrina Sumerah from North Sulawesi. Martha Tilaar Group has supported Miss Indonesia for 14 consecutive years. This collaboration shows that Martha Tilaar Group is consistently supporting women empowerment and self-development. Martha Tilaar Group will try to continuously support the pageant for many years to come.
