Joined by Dozens of Small Enterprises, Pesta Kriya Roemah Martha Tilaar Optimist in Stimulating Gombong Economy

For the third times, Roemah Martha Tilaar (RMT) Gombong held Pesta Kriya, November 20-22, 2017. This exhibition that combines recreation, education and promotion aspect joined by 63 small enterprises. So many kind of product are exhibit, from handcraft product, culinary, agro and so on. To enliven Pesta Kriya 2017, Roemah Martha Tilaar also presenting some of local performance like kuda lumping and traditional music kenthongan.

 

 

On its opening ceremony, Head of Kebumen Tourism Service, Drs. H. Azza Fatoni expreses his appreciation for RMT consistency in giving contribution for people in Kebumen. He added that since the past two years, RMT and regional government already had some collaborations. He hope that this collaboration can keep continue to advance the community of Kebumen.  

Admitted by exhibition participants, their networking and turnover increasement are significant. One of those is Hartanto, an ant sugar farmer from Sempor. He says he is so happy to join Pesta Kriya for he could get opportunity in introducing ant sugar product to the society.

“This sugar is one of Kebumen superior products that has good benefit for health. Unfortunatelly not so many people familiar with this kind of sugar. Therefor, from this kind of event, I’m sure ant sugar could have its own market,” he says. With the increasing number of small enterprises participant, RMT optimist this event could encourage the economic wheel in Gombong.

Meanwhile, Exceutive Director of Roemah Martha Tilaar, Reza Adhiatma says that in the future Pesta Kriya will do some improvement, in order to improve its quality. Some of aspects that needs to be improved are content curation and mentoring to exhibition participations  and how to communicate their products.
