Support Cultural Diversity, Sariayu Martha Tilaar & Puspita Martha Participate in Festival Aku & Kain: The Age of Diversity
Designer oscar lawalata presents a festival titled Aku dan Kain (Me and Cloth): The Age of Diversity which will be held on August 10th to September 10th, 2022 at the national museum, central Jakarta. Born from the philosophy of Nusantara woven fabrics as outlined in a fashion and lifestyle approach, Oscar Lawalata wants to raise the existence of Indonesian traditional fabrics as an archipelago heritage that present and future generations need to be proud of and preserve.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture and also the National Museum, this festival showcases various arts and culture of the archipelago, as well as inspiring figures of the nation. There are about 100 well-known public figures who participated in Aku and Kain's photo campaign: The Age of Diversity, as well as attending the grand opening and fashion show which was held on August 10th.
On that occasion, Sariayu and Puspita Martha were trusted to handle the make-up and hairdo of all the performers, consisting of 50 models and 50 public figures, using a range of quality products from Sariayu Martha Tilaar. Wrapped in meaningful stories and creations narrated through their beautiful works, Aku and Kain festival is a movement that celebrates cultural diversity, to build a sense of nationalism and elevate the beauty of pluralism values. Sariayu Martha Tilaar and Puspita Martha are proud to be a part of this noble movement.
