This participation will open a good chance for Indonesia to contribute to assigning world color trends and also to introduce natural resources and culture of Indonesia to be one the inspirations of color trends. As a member of Intercolor, Wednesday (17/06), Martha Tilaar Foundation Represents Indonesia to present the idea for Spring/Summer 2020 World Trend Color at Intercolor Congress.

The Intercolor Congress was held differently this year. If it usually held in one of the member countries, this year the congress should go online. This condition related to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit so many countries around the world. Then what has been presented by Martha Tilaar Foundation team for next year's color trend? Highlighting the biggest issue in 2020, Kilala Tilaar from Martha Tilaar Foundation submitted a color theme that inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic called Sanitize Me, Blurred Lite, and Heal Bar.

The three main themes that he presented inspired by some personal protection equipment that we use daily in this pandemic time, such as mask, hand sanitizer, hazmat suit, and various kind of herbals which is consumed by so many people to take care of their health and immune system. In outline, the color theme consists of light, soft, and warm colors.

The next process will be followed by meetings and workshops. From 17 member countries will be divided into 5 groups that are selected based on their respective presentation material. On this occasion, Indonesia is in the same group as Japan, China, and the US. After the grouping process and workshops, the color chosen will be determined and free to use by the 17 member countries. For the record, the selected colors are only a reference, each member country is free to process these colors according to their needs.
