To give a contribution to Covid-19 outbreaks prevention in Indonesia, Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN), whose part as UN Global Compact, did fundraising to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that needed by medical staff in Indonesia. Not alone, IGCN asked its colleagues to participate in this fundraising program, one of those is Martha Tilaar Group that has been involved in IGCN activities for years.

Through this fundraising, as per April 16, 2020, IGCN and partners have collected Rp230.494.399,- which then donated as PPE that needed by medical staff, such as surgical mask, medical glove, medical goggle, hazmat suits, N95 mask, hand sanitizer, surgical gown, face shield, and rubber boots. This donation was distributed to 82 hospitals in 26 regions and 31 cities in 25 provinces in Indonesia. The donation distribution also accommodated by DoctorSHARE as one of the members of the UN Global Compact and actively involved in IGCN activities who has networking with more than 40 hospitals in Indonesia, including referral hospitals for Covid-19 patients and patients under surveillance. Some of the hospitals who received the donations are Emanuel Hospital (Banjarnegara), Rajawali Foundation, Panti Abdi Dharma Hospital (Cirebon), Lakipadada Hospital (Tana Toraja), Manokwari Hospital (West Papua), Dr. Achmaad Mochtar Hospital (Bukit Tinggi), and Dompu Hospital (West Nusa Tenggara).

Became part of the IGCN donation program, Martha Tilaar Group wants to give real support that needed by the society especially to medical front-liners who sacrifice their time and effort to heal the suspects of Coronavirus. We also hope that this donation will give good benefits of Coronavirus prevention so that this global pandemic will end up soon.
