Minister of Research and Technology (National Research and Innovation Agency) to Visit Kampoeng Djamoe Organik Martha Tilaar

The Minister of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency, Prof. Bambang Brodjonegoro, Ph.D visited Kampoeng Djamoe Organik (KaDO) of Martha Tilaar in Cikarang (8/01). At the visitation, he was not just sighting the green fields of KaDO and Martha Tilaar Training Center, but also came as one of the guest speakers at the discussion session which attended by R&d team of Martina Berto, BPPT, LIPI, education institutions such as Indonesia University and Padjajaran University, and also Clariant as Martha Tilaar Group’s partners.

Through this opportunity, he emphasizes Researh and Development (R&D) team in business development take importance role. He also gave appreciation to Martha Tilaar Group as one of the companies who realized and implementing the importance of reseach. “It’s only few companies who realize the importance of R&D, but we do hope there will be more companies who will utilizing research in the future, so that they could be more competive and growing. R&D should be a part of sustainable business models, which is will add values to local products and give direct impact to the society,” said Prof. Bambang.

 Be on the stage as another speaker, Kilala Tilaar as the Corporate Creative & Innovation Director of Martha Tilaar Group also talk about Martha Tilaar Group’s comitment in creating research based innovation to run the business. “In collaboration with Clariant, we develop extract ingredients that not only used for Martiba Berto products, but also utilized by competitors,” said Kilala. According to him, Indonesia ingredients need to be marketed to global market so that will be the next trend in the beauty world.
